International Collection Sweet Almond Oil
Great oil for hair and skin. Not too heavy/ not too light.

This is a very good quality sweet almond oil. And because it comes in a glass bottle instead of plastic, I don't even consider other brands. I've used this brand for about 3 years.
I put a couple drops of this on my palms and fingers, rub a bit, then run through my hair. I get a light sheen without heaviness. And my fine, fly-away hair tends to stay put better. This is why I bought it in the first place - because sweet almond oil has been used for hair for thousands of years.
But I also make a moisturizing and healing cream from 1/2 C of this sweet almond oil, 1/4 C of coconut oil and 1/4 C of beeswax. All go into a jar, then the jar is set in about 2" of simmering water in a shallow pan until the coconut oil and beeswax is melted. About 30 drops of a favorite essential oil is nice, but not needed. I give it a stir and pour it into small glass jars I saved from commercial face creams I used to use and artichoke hearts jars are good too. The beeswax makes this a very healing moisturizer for face, hands, body. I was surprised, when I first made/used it, that I only needed to apply it a couple times a day on my hands because the effects last even after washing dishes! It goes on my face after wash-up in the morning. I rub it into my feet and heals before my sox go on in the morning - I'm amazed at the change in my feet since I've been using this.
