Tasty but higher carbs I guess I didn't look close enough at this label, but there are more carbs in this type than a couple of other natural berry flavored protein powders. It does mix well and has a great taste, but if you really want to watch your carb intake I would check out MRM or Whey Factors. December 27, 2011

Best Protein, Best Flavor Ever! This is by far the best protein I have found, and I have tried a lot. The flavor is AMAZING, which is something that I usually find OK at best with most protein powders, and down right putrid with others. I can't wait to have my strawberry milkshake-esque blend every morning. I drink it blended with almond milk and a banana, but it's really good just in water too. This stuff really rocks, and the nutrient content is stellar! A+++++ May 2, 2010

Not as advertised I used Iron-Tek Essential Natural 100% Protein Wild Strawberry for a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Late in 2009, I received a container of it and the product taste was not the same. It was more like a bland banana or vanilla flavor. I sent it back to Vitacost and obtained a refund. I ordered two containers of the same product from another supplier and both (with different lot numbers) tasted like the one I had returned to Vitacost. I called the manufacturer and discussed the problem with a Quality Control person who said she would look into it and call me back. She has never returned my call. March 20, 2010

Great for sensitive stomach!!! I have a sensitive stomach and I was looking for a protein brand that wouldn't make me sick.(Once I've got so sick after drinking a proteing shake that I had to run to the hospital, this is how sensitive I am). after trying many brands I used Iron-Tek Natural Protein and I looved it! Tastes good, low fat/carbs I've been taking protein shakes for about 3 years. My favorite shake for the taste/texture is by far MuscleMilk (Banana, Strawberry, Peanut Butter Chocolate). In trying to lose some weight, I started to try different protein powders with less fat. This one (wild strawberry flavor) tastes great and has very little fat.
