A good deal I was looking for a product that contained Alpha-Lipoic Acid. This one was not too expensive. It has 100mg of ALA as well as Carnitine and Arginine. I take two of these every day. Though I cannot say I noticed a huge difference in my workouts with this product alone, I have had good results taking a combination of Jarrow Formulas, Beta Alanine, Glutamine, and Turmeric. Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) support the mitochondrial production of energy. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is found in high concentrations in human brain, nerve, heart, liver and sperm cells, where it participates in metabolizing fatty acids into energy by the mitochondria.

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a water and lipid soluble antioxidant required by the mitochondrial matrix pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, which is the starting point of the Krebs or TCA (energy) cycle.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate and Alpha Lipoic Acid work synergistically as antioxidants.
