Best I've tried so far! It's hard to find organic decaf, but really hard to find any kind of decaf that doesn't taste bitter or rancid. This is really flavorful and satisfies me when I have a coffee craving in the evening but don't want to be awake half the night! January 17, 2013

Jim's Organic Coffee Whole Bean Together Decaf Directions

The Grind. Buy whole beans and grind them yourself. Whole beans remain fresher longer. In a home mill grinder 7-10 seconds will yield a drip grind, 3-5 seconds yields a coarse grind for a French Press or slow-drip machine.
The Water. Start with a cold filtered spring, or tap water. Water should be at boiling point (195-205 degrees Fahrenheit). Cooler will underextract, a rolling boil will burn the coffee.
The Proportion. Use two tablespoons ground coffee per 6 ounce cup. Adjust to taste.
The Timing. Best extraction takes 3-4 minutes. If your brew method is faster or slower, compensate by using a very fine grind for a quick brew, coarse for slow.
