Looks good but cats ignore this one
Unfortunatley, this is one cat toy that is ignored by all three cats. The only time they give it some attention is when i remove the attachment and dangle it.

Interesting toy and durable
My cat Tiger loves this toy and plays with it pretty often. However, the ladybird will swing around for about a minute before coming to a stop. The magnetic field base could be increased beyond that small portion. THis is a durable toy indeed as it's been knocked over and abused by Tiger for a few weeks but it's still keeping strong. He has SO MUCH FUN playing with this I get SO MUCH laughs from watching him too. Good concept, but can be improved on.

Too tempting to stop playing with!
Shadow loves this toy! When not in "play" the ladybug moves in unpredictible patterns over the magnet in the base. This movement attracts him back to playing whenever he has gotten distracted. He likes to "stalk" it, run up and pounce on it. I like it because I can get work done without having to entertain him!
The wire the ladybug hangs from does bend when he pounces on top of it and eventually we have to gently bend the wire back up into place. For three weeks I kept waiting for the wire to break, but it hasn't. Great toy and half the price at Vitacost than I paid for it at a national pet store!
