Jyoti All Natural Mung Dal with Spinach Description
Empty the pouch in a microwaveable bowl or sauce pan, add ¼ cup or more water, cover, heat and serve.
Traditional Indian style: combine pouch contents with ¼ cup of water (or more as desired) heat and serve with rice, bread and vegetables.
Mung Dal Stews: Sauté two cups of your favorite vegetables (greens, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, diced onion etc.) or pan brown ½ lb of any combination. Mix in contents of this pouch, add ½ cup water. Simmer 10 min. and add water, salt pepper and lemon juice to your liking.
Mung Dal Soup: Combine contents of this pouch with 1 cup of your favorite broth or water (50/50: water/tomato juice will make a good variation) and heat to create a light, nutritious soup!
