King Arthur Flour Cake Mix Gluten Free Chocolate -- 22 oz
Best GF cake mix
I have tried lots of gluten free cake mix both boxed and from scratch and this by King Arthur is hands down the best. Even my GF friends can't tell the difference.

I used this for the first time to make cup cakes and it was the most delicious cupcakes I have ever tasted and that includes regular gluten filled cupcakes I have made int he past. These taste so much better and had the right amount of sweetness. You would never think it was gluten-free. I halved the recipe and made 12 cupcakes, but they came out a little smaller than I wanted. I used coconut oil instead of the vegetable oil and didn't even taste it in the cake and my kids also liked it.

So delicious you wouldn't guess it is gluten-free
I made this for my daughter's birthday with a spoonful of Enjoy Life chocolate chips tossed in. It was so moist and actually got better after a couple of days. The cake mix is pricey, but it is worth every cent.

Great texture, flat flavour
I made cupcakes out of this mix. The texture, for a glutenfree dessert mix, was sublime. However, the flavor, while somewhat chocolatey, lacks depth. You can maybe help make up for it with a great frosting on it. And using coconut oil as your "vegetable oil" might be nice too, I just used plain palm (Spectrum). I probably won't buy again and will stick with Pamela's chocolate cake or from scratch. When you're shelling out this much money as a celiac disease patient, you really want a product that's worth it and this isn't.

Not for me
This cake baked up very dense and dry.
