Wash your bottle before first use. Hand wash with warm soapy water or diluted vinegar and baking soda. Kanteens are dishwasher safe, though colored bottles should be hand-washed. Our stainless caps should not be submerged or washed in a dishwasher; water under pressure can squeeze inside.
