Nice metallic color, but not super-dark.
This is a yellow-gold, plus bronze color. It has a hint of copper, but is not overly orange at all. It almost heads more toward a green type vibe, such as with bronzed metal. I was expecting it to be a little more like a deep dark brown, but it's pretty much a straight, shiny metallic. It gives off kind of a yellowy shine on top of the base brown color. This is great if that's what you're looking for. It's very pretty, and I used it for both a basic shadow and a liner underneath using the same brush to blend the color down around the eye. I mixed it with a little jojoba oil because I do not like the loose powder format, but that made it crease more quickly.
If you are looking for a *very* deep dramatic color, as I love, I would suggest getting a more brown shade. I think I'm going to look into getting "Rendezvous" in the same brand. I kind of wish that I had gotten that instead, for my personal preferences. This "Witches Brew" color works well for a daily look, because the sparkle makes it a bit sporty or fun. For a traditional smokey eye, I'd go more matte. I'd say the color on the computer does it justice. It's not overly wrong, but the real color is slightly more yellow and bright/reflective and orangey. I know all computer screens are different, but the "Gilded Goddess" I got from this website was quite a different color when it actually arrived, so I'm just comparing for the sake of the review.

Bronzy Chocolate
This is a great color! I have used it with the heavenly skies and the scale of dragon for an intense look. It is great by itself also for a nice day look. you can make it intense or not depending on how much you put on. a little can go a long way. great for summer too!
