You get what you pay for
Save your money and put it toward a more elegantly formulated retinol. This stuff has a very unpleasant odor, and a tacky, gummy feel. It feels nasty on the skin, and has no moisturizing properties.
Beyond that, it made my face scaly, flaky and dehydrated after a couple of uses, which took a couple of weeks to recover from. I have skin of steel and use heavy-duty glycolics on a regular basis, and have used retinols by Skinceuticals, Ren, and Skin Medica with no adverse reaction - just soft, smooth skin. When a retinol product is formulated properly, it won't make your skin peel or flake.
Since I didn't like it on my face, I tried it on my neck and had the same reaction - flakes and scaling. I then decided to use it on my hands, but it's such a poorly designed treatment that it just made my hands dry and coated with a pasty, sticky residue.
If it had resulted in producing softer, well-exfoliated, smoother skin in any of these regions, I might be willing to put up with the unpleasant feel and nasty smell, but it didn't. I rarely toss out products, but this one went in the trash heap.
Pass on this "bargain."

Very effective and economically priced
Talk about value - this product is of the quality one would expect from any of the major department store brands and VitaCost pricing is great. The retinol can cause skin to roughen first before it becomes effective in reducing pigmentation, wrinkles and other effects of aging. It has a pleasing fragrance. Would highly recommend using this in the evening as it does not offer any protection from the sun. Otherwise, use sunscreen after applying this product.

Great product!!
My boss received this for free at a products show over a year ago. She never opened it and offered it to me to try out. I don't usually "test" things on my face, as I am leary of most face creams. She caught me on an adventurous day...I started using it only a few times a week, at night; my face didn't break out or anything, so I committed to giving it a good chance--one appl at bedtime every night. I really like this product! My skin (quite uneven and spotty) has cleared up so much that I barely wear any foundation to work. I can see a difference after only two weeks of daily use and I'm so excited to find it here at Vitacost. Use a thin layer on clean skin and wake up to a fresher, younger look. I don't do many reviews, but I'm really impressed so I wanted to share.

LOVE IT
I only use this every other night, but think I'm ready to increase to nightly-leaves skin glowing & very soft in the morning--better than many creams I've bought that cost many times more. This was a great find.

Great product with a great price.
This is the real thing. And what a bargin it is. I'm not sure if I like promoting this product because saying good things about it only make it more out of stock. I too would like to buy it again.
