Good Product for Gray Coverage
A few years ago I discovered that I had severe allergies to any kind of regular dye. Light Mountain products have been a lifesaver. I agree the process it tedious and time consuming but if you have severe allergies to regular hair dye, this product is a good alternative when trying to cover gray hair. Helpful hints, always add coffee to darker shades when applying step two and apply heat right away or it won't set. It really is a pain in the butt - stage two but for those of us who suffer with allergies, it does help to have a product that can color your hair without harmful chemicals. Downside is that your hair lightens up within four weeks and gray growth is apparent but that probably isn't so different from regular hair coloring.

Best color saturation, but huge hassle, 5 hours!
This gives the very best coverage of gray, the darkest color saturation. It is my best option, many other henna options do not work on my hair at all, really not at all. This brand is a major hassle, but it works best. It takes literally FIVE hours for the entire process, no exaggeration! There are two different henna applications, both have to cure, and both have to stay on your hair for at least a couple hours, plus set up and clean up. It is not for all hair types – mine is thick and tends to be oily, and this brand washes out from black/dark brown to a strange orange color in about 2 weeks, even if I’m using special gentle shampoo for color treated hair. Sometimes, mysteriously, the color does not work at all, even after I have very carefully followed all directions and spent FIVE hours with the process. But, even so, it does work much better than many other henna brands. I have several friends who swear by this brand as the very best henna, and I see that they get excellent results. It appears to be my hair type, not this henna itself, this is the best henna I have found.

Loving it!!!
I've used this product many times and I can vouch that it works on my 25% grey hair. It provides complete grey coverage, all naturally.
The previous 2 reviewers didn't use the product at all. I wondered why they bothered to review it.
Yes, it takes time to apply, wait and then wash. But hey, it's so worth it if it makes me feel like a million bucks.

overall best henna out there
I tried many different henna brands and this is overall the best as far as the gray coverage and long-lasting color of about 6 weeks. The grays end up turning out a slight reddish-golden color which look like natural highlights! Although it's very tedious and time consuming to use, the results are well worth it!!!

Not worth it
It takes forever to use this, since each step has to cure for 1-3 hours. The first step is pretty easy to apply, but the second is Not. It clumps up and falls off. I think this is just the black henna in general though, since I tried another brand and it did the same thing. The color did not turn out very dark, and the greys turned blond. I will not use again.
