Here's the deal. I have read a lot of reviews for henna, good and bad. If you know how to use it, it is FANTASTIC! THis product is my favorite and is excellent in covering greys. What you need to do is just get the hang of it. It takes extra time to divide your hair into four sections, to apply evenly. The whole process takes longer than those toxic boxes of coloring that are the alternative to henna. But the results are superior and far better for your hair and health. Also the best results are with the second and third application as the color gets richer and richer. Follow the instructions, google for tips and extras. There are great tips out there. I use a few drops of tea tree oil in each mixture which super boosts the color release. I leave mine on my hair longer (by twice as long) but I did extra time with the toxic stuff as well as I have very resistant greys. I used one egg in mix #2 for the best results. I have used this product for over two years. If you read a review that is bad, I believe its from someone that has not given it at least two chances and got used to henna in general. I intended to go grey after all the permanent toxic color had grown out but I am loathe to do so as I love both the rich color this product gives and the healthy condition of my hair. I have to use pain meds so having healthy hair is a challenge.
