Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser Normal to Dry Skin -- 118 mL
Best Cleanser Ever!
I have tried all sorts of cleansers for my face as my skin has started to go haywire since hitting 30. My acne started getting worse, despite the fact that my skin was dry as could be with lots of flakiness too! Throw a mid level case of creeping rosecea into the mix, and I was looking rough...Every cleanser I tried helped with one problem and made the others worse.
I have been so relieved that I found this cleanser on here. Starting with the first day, my skin has started to dramatically calm down. It always feels clean, but never tight; very soft to the touch, but not like there's been an oily film left behind :-) The smell is very nice and incredibly mild, and the texture is like a semi-heavy face cream, but again, it washes right off. The instructions say to rub into the skin for 20 seconds, but I usually do just a tad longer: it seems to work better, the more you work it in.
Since using it, my other products (including makeup) glide on so much more smoothly, much of the dryness has been alleviated, and my redness has faded somewhat. The surprising thing though really, is that I have been using this for about two weeks and am still waiting for a breakout to occur! About the time I started using this, they completely quit! Semi clear skin for the first time in years! Thank you Mad Hippie and Vitacost!

Moisturizing, gentle cleaner
Wonderful, Like all mad hippie's stuff. I've tried their vitamin C serum, face cream, eye cream and this face wash. I'd rate all their products very good.
It doesn't foam, that's the only thing that's maybe is slightly off putting about this cleanser- that's not always a bad thing though. Although it doesn't foam it does cleanse and does moisturize.
A new trend is oil cleansing and I thought this would be a great step towards people who are wanting to try that, because the lack of suds and the way it leaves your face feeling.
I'm on my 3rd bottle now and for the time being it is my favorite cleanser.
I am acne prone, and this does not aggravate my sensitive skin at all, and I do believe it has helped some.
