I eat this every morning. I love it. I use the short cut method on the can. It works great.

Can you say chaff?
I have been averaging 5-6 pieces of chaff per bowlful. Having to stop chewing and pick out or spit out a piece of fingernail-like chaff is not appetizing.

THE BEST EVER OATMEAL
My husband and I started eating McCann's Steel Cut Oatmeal nearly two years ago, and once we started eating it NOTHING gets our day going better than a hot bowl of Irish Steel Cut Oats. We have tried other brands, but this is by far the tops. It stays with you, and you don't have that mid-morning slump that you get from a high carb breakfast. Only problem is, it is very hard to find in the grocery stores, and when you do find it the price is considerably more than the Vitacost site. We love McCann's SCIO and would not be without it.
