Meyenberg Whole Powdered Goat Milk Vitamin D Description

With vitamin D and folic acid, this goat milk could be the Greatest Of All Time.

  • U.S. Grade A goat milk from a family-owned farm
  • No preservatives or growth hormones
  • Kosher and gluten free
  • Enriched with vitamin D and folic acid
  • Whole powdered for space-saving, shelf-stable milk every body can enjoy
  • Great over cereal, mixed into your favorite recipes or poured straight from the glass!

Milk does a body good…except when it doesn’t. If you have a hard time digesting cow’s milk, you’ve probably turned to sweet soy beverages or nut-based milk alternatives. These non-dairy drinks may be easier on your stomach, but what about the rest of your body?

In many parts of the world, people prefer to dunk their cookies in goat’s milk – and they’re wise to do so. Compared to cow’s milk, this uniquely pleasant alternative offers less lactose and more nutrients. In a tall, cold glass of Meyenberg Whole Powdered Goat Milk, you get a boost of calcium, potassium and vitamin A. This Grade A goat milk is even supplemented with vitamin D and folic acid, so you’re good to go from head to toe.

excellent product Good price. if you like goat milk, this is delicious, but if do not enjoy the VERY distinct flavor of goat dairy - milk, cheese, etc. then this is not for you. Best price on vitacost - from oregon to washington... July 29, 2013
Not bad...just not for me This product mixed well, was rich and creamy and tasted okay. It was just a little too "goat-y" for me. I'll try to use it up in sauces, as that may help hide the goat flavor. All-in-all, not bad, but just not for me. July 27, 2013
Only Good for Baking I love raw goats milk and this powdered goats milk taste/smells nothing like raw milk. Goat milk is not gamey if raised properly and this powdered goat milk smells and taste terrible. It is great for baking only. July 20, 2013
Nice dairy-free alternative We can't have dairy, and I can't always find fresh goat milk locally, so this is a nice substitute, especially in baking. July 15, 2013
So thankful for Meyenberg Goat Milk Our son had allergies to all the formulas we tried and were suggested by his pediatrician (I was needing something to help supplement my breast milk when I went back to work). I was scared to try anything because he would vomit for hours after just having an ounce or two of formula. A friend suggested we try Meyenberg Goat Milk with an added supplement of vitamin A&D and additional iron. Amazingly enough he has had no problems with it and is doing very well nursing and getting his goats milk as a supplement while at daycare. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend this product to anyone who's having similar issues. It gave me back my peace of mind knowing that he'd have something to fall back on and wouldn't be hungry if I didn't produce enough milk for him during the day at work. Vitacost also offers the best price around that I've found (including locally!) and free shipping! July 11, 2013
