Great product. Have used for at 15 years and really, really stops the bacterial growth that causes odor. Doesn't stop you from sweating but stops the smell usually associated with sweat. I highly recommend this product!

Wow!
I was quite skeptical that a product would be able to keep away MY odor. I wanted to stay away from aluminum-based antiperspirants and have tried using the naturally scented deodorants, crystal deodorants, and even a mix of baking soda and arrowroot powder / corn starch (the latter worked the best of all of them, although I often would still have to reapply during the day).
This product actually works for me really, really well. Like a couple of reviews and the instructions say, it may take your body a few days up to a couple of weeks to get used to it. I applied it several times over the first two weeks and then suddenly it kicked in and I've only had to use it once a week since. (I've been using it for 3 months now.) It even keeps working after sweaty workouts.
Note: It also may take some time to work your body odor out of your clothes from using other products. I've found that spraying the armpit sections and adding 1/4 c. of white vinegar to the wash cycle has worked well for this.

It works GREAT
You just need to remember to put it on every few days. I will shave my underarms and then THE NEXT day put it on so as not to put it on broken skin. I love not using regular deodorant and having to deal with the chemicals or the 'white stuff' that shows up on your clothes. I've bought 3 of them so far. Each jar lasts a pretty long time -- maybe 3 months. I put it on with one of those spongy makeup things and then keep using that same one a few times. I'm happy with it,.. very.

Was disappointing.
For me, this product did not work. I tried it for 2 weeks and it did not control odor for me at all. I was truly disappointed.

Lavillin is Awesome
I have been using Lavillin deodorant cream for three years and this is the best deodorant. It is the only deodorant I use that does not irritate or burn my underarms. It is gentle to my arms and it last a long time. I only have to reapply it ever 14 days. That's right you read correct, every 14 days and I have no smell! I shower daily and I still do not have to reapply until14 days later. I would highly recommend this deodorant if you are looking for a safe alternative instead of using antiperspirants. Lavillin will still allow you to sweat which is what I like, knowing it is not clogging my pores. I only recommend that you follow the directions and allow your underarms to refresh for 48 hours as the directions recommend when you first switch over. Once you start to use Lavillin you will never go back it is simply the BEST!
