Irritated my skin
I have never encountered a castile soap that irritated my skin. This one did it. I dont think it was the peppermint, but who knows. I use other brands (bars and liquid) in peppermint and dont have any issues. I use almond, hemp, etc with no problem. But maybe its just this brand that I have a problem with. I think this is very strange, as I have used Mill Creek products for a very long time and never had an issue. They have been the most gentle and never made me react in any way. This soap made my skin itchy, red and swollen. It took days to go away. I tried it for cleaning and just for handwashing, but it had the same effect. I just could not use it, at all. I didn't dare try it for laundry. Anyway, If you have sensitive skin, be careful. It may not bother you, but it bothered me.

Great as a shampoo
I have been using this as a shampoo and it works great. It is concentrated so I dilute it some with water in an old shampoo bottle. It is very runny so you have to be careful not to spill it. It lathers very nicely for castile. I have tried several other castile bars and none lathered as well as this liquid. It has a nice mint smell, not too overwhelming.
