Subpar Balsamic Vinegar I use balsamic vinegar on a regular basis and have used about a dozen different brands of varying qualities. This was the worst one I've ever had. It had no depth of flavor and was missing that classic sweetness balsamic vinegar is known for. Consequently, it was more acrid and acidic than any other BV I've had prior and more akin to red wine vinegar than balsamic. It also wasn't nearly as deeply colored as a nicely aged balsamic should. A really good balsamic is so dark it looks almost black. (I ended up reducing this down to get more flavor out of it.) If you're looking for a really good balsamic or you're a balsamic connoisseur, I'd skip this. (Costco and BJs have much better balsamic vinegars than this and for a better price. If you're looking for a good organic one, I'm a fan of Brad's Organic, and Bionaturae is good, too, if memory serves me right.) March 10, 2014
The Right Choice Organic is the way to go for this....no pesticides, and a great taste. Worth it! August 25, 2013
