The Chesapeake Bay peanuts represent the flavors of Virginia's Chesapeake Bay region which features George Washington's birthplace, the estate of Confederate general Robert E. Lee, as well as the lands of the Pamunkey and Mattaponi Native Americans. Quaint villages and expansive farmlands are all along the Bay.
About the farmer
The family that grows the peanuts has been farming the finest Virginia peanuts since the late 1800's on their 3,000-acre farm in Southampton County. They grow only the world-famous Virginia peanut, prized by gourmets everywhere for its impressive size and even more incredible flavor. The Peanuts are selected by the farmer and then hand roasted on the farm in small batches to ensure you receive a premium artisan Virginia Peanut.
