Stove Top Preparation Directions:
In medium (2-qt.) saucepan, bring 2 cups water and dash salt (optional) to a boil.
Stir in 1 cup barley. Reduce heat; cover.
Simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until tender.
Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.
