All you need is a squirt or two and you're on your way. The Basil herb has a cool crisp scent that is said to revive the senses clear the head and calm the nerves. "Mrs. Meyer's products are terrific, although they don't always smell that terrific to me (the Lemon Verbena smells almost like pine sol...very odd and definitely NOT like lemon verbena, or even lemon for that matter). But the Basil is really nice."

"At first I really liked the smell of this soap, but I found it...I don't know, cloying? later on. I noticed that the fragrance is probably artificial, since the label just says "fragrance," not "natural fragrance." This soap also has a few other suspect ingredients that, alas, I'm too lazy to look up at this time. Also, it only makes suds moderately well."
