Love this stuff
They use to sell this in Whole Foods but no longer sell this type of crushed tomatoes. The fire roasted makes the best vodka sauce ever. Making vodka sauce without it just isn't the same.

Best Tomato Sauce
The best sauce is one that retains a fresh tomato taste - that means as little cooking as possible. The fire roasted tomatoes taste great right out of the can. If you like a thicker sauce, put it in a skillet and reduce it (let it bubble away the liquid as steam). Or mix can contents with dried ziti or penne & cheese. Cook in oven until pasta is tender. Pasta will absorb liquid in tomatoes and leave you with a perfect tasty baked ziti without having to precook the sauce or the pasta and you'll have the best sauce you ever tasted. Make a big batch and freeze portions. Defrost prior to cooking in oven.
