i read another's review of the flavor and totally agree! it is not bitter and i love the texture as well.

These were quite bitter. I was unable to eat a handful as I do with other cacao nibs.

da bomb!
OMG this stuff is da bomb! I use a teaspoon in my raw eggnog (2 raw eggs, 1 T raw cream, 1 T coconut oil, 2 T blueberries, 1/3 of an almost-ripe banana). Very low sugar and it tastes like heaven! You gotta try it.

Great Tasting and Best Value
I use Cacao in my smoothie recipes. I usually buy Navita but it was out of stock so I decided to try this one.
I couldn't believe that the taste is much better (not chalky at all) and the price is much lower. This is a winner in our home!

Exquisite
I have gone through many cacao powders, including Navitas and Sunfood... the taste profile on Navitas is a bit too fruity for me, Sunfood is more refined but a bit flat (and overpriced). This Criollo powder by Natierra is a revelation-- delectably complex, like a fine wine, and can be enjoyed with little to no sweetener. I enjoy making raw truffles by combining with coconut butter and honey. My only hesitation before purchasing was that it is not labeled raw, though it has the same freshness and consistency of other raw cacao. Bottom line, I'm in love with the Criollo and saved a few dollars for the next bag. Win. Win.
