I got this for my husband, who was suffering so much with his stomach! We finally figured out that it might actually be that he had taken so many anti acids over the years he had ruined the good acids his stomach that breaks down your food. This product replaces your GOOD acids that you need to break down and digest foods! He had been suffering greatly for several month within the first couple of pills he could tell a difference. By a week it was basically gone. He takes at least one a day (with lunch) to maintain the good acids and will take another one with supper if he thinks it is food that might cause problems. But if is awaken at night (only happens occasionally now where it was EVERY NIGHT several times a night) he just takes an extra pill with a full glass of water and it is GONE! He was having issues with MEATS especially, spicy foods not even hot/spicy just food that had any spices other than salt and pepper, and of course hot/spicy foods too. So if your issue is about breaking down foods and you feel they are not digesting properly this is the stuff for you! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!!!

Acid and reflux away
If you take one capsule with each food keeps away your reflux.
If you forget to take it before you eat and you let the digestion take place,probably could be late for you and you get your reflux.

It did not work as well as I would have hoped.

this product made my heartburn worse. I think it was the Betaine HCL, which is acidic.
