Natural Sea Yellow Fin Tuna Without Salt -- 6 oz
Mushy, but flavorful.
I only like yellowfin tuna -- prefer it to albacore. I know the difference in texture. I grew up on Chicken of the Sea, then I found this product in my local market when the label was blue. I loved it -- much superior to Chicken of the Sea. But something changed. The blue label went to pink, the 6 oz. can became 5 oz. and then product quality decreased. I don't know if it's a change in packing plant or not. Now all product seems to come from Thailand -- maybe it always has. I don't have one of my old cans to check. But as for me, I'm looking for a new tuna, partially because I need 6 oz. cans for the recipes I use.

I really liked this tuna. It didn't leave that tinny taste in my mouth like some canned tuna does. It is very flavorful, and a bonus without salt. Thank you for a healthy product.

I am so thrilled to finally find a quality tuna that is not packed in a broth that has soy in it - almost all the other brands out there are. The quality is outstanding!

AJMJ unwittingly complained about the "mushy" quality of Natural Sea's chunk tuna. She was comparing it with albacore she buys which is a totally different part of the fish. I only buy chunk light because it has less mercury. and I always drink the drained broth first for the minerals in it.

Not what I expected
Usually purchase the Wild Planet Albacore tuna. It is far superior to the Natural Sea. Natural Sea is very watery and mushy, similar to a cheap store brand. Will not purchase again.
