I did feel a slight calming effect but I prefer Trace Mineral Research Trace Mineral drops instead for a magnesium/mineral supplement. I believe, for minerals, you need all of them for balance and synergy and Trace Mineral drops fits the bill w/over 70 minerals. February 19, 2009

Perfect calcium/magnesium combo I bought this to get better absorption in my body as I have found pill forms to be ineffective. This is the right combination of magnesium and calcium so you are not depleting the magnesium in your body. 1-2 teaspoons twice per day at any time, at least 5 hours apart.
Individual needs may vary. Start with 1 teaspoon daily and gradually increase to 2 teaspoons twice daily. When bowels are comfortably loose, this is the optimal amount. Some people may need to start with a half-teaspoon only and gradually work up to higher amounts.

How to Prepare: Place powder in a glass or mug; add 3-4 oz of hot or boiling water and stir until dissolved. Fill glass with warm water and enjoy like a hot tea. Natural juice may be added in place of water when preparing for children.
