Works Wonders
Although the Swedish Bitters makes you dance after swallowing it, it works wonders within at least 8 hours, in a very gentle way. Much recommended, if you can handle the taste. And since it's made of herbs, they are good for you.

Makes a difference
The initial taste is strong, but it actually soothes my digestion. I would definitely purchase this again.

Seems like it works, but...
I had to give it only 3 stars, even though it seems to do some good. But here are the negatives:
- (MOST IMPORTANT - as I see it) Valerian root!
(Btw, from my research, there is no Valerian root in the original Swedish Bitters recipe.)
Man, it makes me so dumb and slow - and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would experience that. Therefore it's not really acceptable to take this product at any time other than before bed. But I think it needs to be taken more often to get the most benefits (which I feel, by the way - so it works).
- (LESS IMPORTANT - because the product still works) It definitely could be more bitter.

A $7 bottle of water
I purchased this yesterday to sample it for my office (I run a primary care and herbal medicine shop) and was very disappointed. I've taken so-called "Swedish Bitters" before, and believe me, you could tell they were bitter the second they hit your tongue. The idea behind bitters isn't only to aid digestion in the bowels, but to stimulate it right from the alimentary canal and the tongue. This product tastes like plain water to me, I highly recommend against buying it, as "bitters" need to actually have a bitter TASTE to be effective.
