Very disappointed
The previous Reishi Mushroom product I purchased from another company was dark brown in color, but was much pricier. This Nature's answer Reishi is a light brown color. It appears they've added lots of rice flour to it, which has a strong rancid smell. I can never sincerely recommend this one to a friend. Please do your own research first before buying- not all Reishi products are created equal quality. I would say Nature's Way and Nature's Herbs brand Reishi (which are in about the same price range) are better product choices compare to this one. What I like though from Nature's Answer line is their Resveratrol in the liquid form. Hope this helps someone.

Feeling good
I started using Reishi after seeing something on the Discovery channel. VitaCost was the most cost effective for the quality of mushroom. Since I started using it I feel good. Really good. I turned some of my friends on to Reishi and now they all want more. One of my friends had problems with low energy and the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. I gave her some of the Reishi and after a week she called to say she has been cleaning the house and feels great. She is actually lowering her dose (2) because she has almost too much energy. My friend is in her late 50's. Even I didn't know it was that good, but I guess it effects people differently. Thanks.
