"Compared with some other brands that use organic elderberry and no additives, this was MUCH cheaper, but the taste definitely was unnatural, highly sweetened and not as pleasant and intense as the other brands. This tasted like is a low quality, watery product and is indeed much cheaper. I don't know whether it's also less effective than the higher quality stuff.. I don't think I would buy this again although the price is good."

"This new formulation (previously was called Sambucol - by the same manufacturer) is not nearly as pleasant tasting as the old formulation. It is almost an unpleasant taste now. However, it is still effective in shortening the duration of sinus troubles."
