Falafel, a traditional dish that is a main staple in the Middle East, is a patty or a ball which is made of fava beans and chickpeas that have been ground. Falafel is Easy to Prepare!
Just follow these simple steps:
In a medium sized bowl add contents of falafel mix to 3/4 cup of water. Mix well and let stand for 10 minutes (Avoid letting falafel mix stand too long, this can cause patties to break apart).
Form falafel mix into 1 small patties.
In deep large skillet heat 1/3 cup of vegetable/canola oil over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
Cook falafel patties in the skillet for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from heat, let excess oil drain from patties and serve. Enjoy!
