Is it me or has the formula changed?
This has been the only shower wash I could use for a few years. But the last bottle I purchased seemed to really be harsh and drying. I don't know if it's just me (my skin is very dry and sensitive) or if the formula is different. It has left me searching for a new product. But if your skin is not particularly dry, I would recommend it!

Great just as all the other Natures Gate Body Wash
I have tried the whole Nature's Gate Bodywash line up. All of them have similar characteristics and perform just about the same. They all share most of the ingredients except for that particular flavor or scent if you will and maybe one or two other ingredients. They all have a moderate scent if you smell straight from body and you as apply. The smell quickly dissipates as soon as you rinse. Leaving a barely noticeable trace(scent) of itself behind . The Papaya i feel is the least fragrant of the lineup. I believe the Natures Gate Bodywash are best suited for people within the normal to slightly oily skin types. It doesnt dry my skin nor does it particularly overly moisturize it. Thats fine for me since i dislike other soaps or bodywash which leave that oily film behind. You get that clean feeling and smell but without the harshness of some products. The product is a good value cheaper than higher end and not much more expensive than your run of the mill Dial or other body washes. A bottle last me a long while. I keep two different scents in my shower at all times.

great for dry skin
I am 51 and my skin gets dried out easily, this is the only wash that is gentle enough, especially in the winter. ( I do use alba very moisturizing lotion after showers also) The fragrance is minimal so those sensitive would love this.

Softens and Smoothes
This is the best body wash. It has a light natural scent. It softens and smooths, does not strip skin, leave skin feeling moisturized, and brightens. My favorite body wash!
