"To be effective, Red Yeast Rice must contain at least 10 mg of Monascus Purpureus Monacolins, should be Extended Release and should be taken in the PM. NATURE'S PLUS BRAND is superior and we have seen marvelous results with my husband's numbers! Our physician is really impressed. Additionally, NATURE'S PLUS GUGULIPID in combination with the RED YEAST RICE has really made a difference in both the cholestrol and triglyceride numbers. Thank you Vitacost for making these products so much more affordable!"
