The product tastes terrible.
I tried mixing multiple different things into this and nothing made it so I could actually finish a shake without gagging and wanting to throw up. I have tried other pea protein and haven't had this issue. I just could not do it. I recommend the Vitacost brand. It works and although isn;t great on its on, gets much better when you mix with other things. See the related product I added. That is one that is much better than this Alive brand.

Chocolate worth the effort
The Alive Pea Protein has been a wonderful find. The vanilla works in more shake flavor combinations. The chocolate was more challenging to love but worth the work. My daughter's favorite so far is chocolate protein, a banana, chocolate almond milk, a teaspoon of Nutella and frozen coffee cubes. Adding chocolate almond milk or the coffee cubes really brings out the flavor. It is smooth and mixes better than other protein drinks we've used. Amazing ingredients, endless smoothie possibilities. Thank you Nature's Way.

Not the best Alive! flavor
I've used all three of the Nature's Way Alive!® Pea Protein flavors. Though this one is growing on me, I don't like it as much as the vanilla orapple. I would suggest the vanilla over this one. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Nature's Way Alive!® Pea Protein. Their products,specifically the Pea Protein powder, is the only way I get my vitamins. I can't handle multivitamin pills, they always upset my stomach. Chewables and gummies are tolerable, but none work as well as the Alive! products. I've tried the liquid vitamin by Alive! as well, but this is a better value. You get protein and a meal with your vitamins.

TASTE NOT TOO BAD
Great way to get all your vitamins. I would suggest using a blender with at least milk. The taste isn't bad when mix with milk.

Not a winner
I am in search of the Holy Grail of protein shakes: one that tastes great and that doesn't have undesirable ingredients (such as artificial sweeteners--no sweetener at all is even better; corn syrup, GMO sources, etc.). This powder doesn't have undesirable ingredients, but it just doesn't taste good. It also doesn't smell good, and we all know how much of taste is based on smell. Because I hate waste, I tried to just gag it down every morning until I just couldn't stand it any longer. I'm giving the rest of the can away to someone who might enjoy it better. The closest I've come is the Nature's Plus Source of Life Energy Shake, which is delicious. It has vitamins and minerals in it, though, and I am taking good-quality supplements to meet those needs already, so I continue to search for that Holy Grail.
