This was a mistake! I thought I would give this a try as I have made the switch to healthy organic foods, so why not for my hair. I never liked all the harsh chemicals used in my regular hair coloring system. Well, the mixing was easy, and the application was easy. However, the rinsing was a nightmare! It felt as if I was trying to rinse out a gallon of glue. It was so stiff I could hardly get my fingers through it. I used the whole packet of conditioning rinse that came in the box, then had to use extra deep conditioner that I had on hand. After all that, it did not cover the grays near my face, and I applied extra color there. I would not try using organic hair color again after this experience. February 23, 2013

Very Drying Hair Color This is a VERY Drying Hair Color, and should NOT be used. I will offer that the color selected did have a nice result, but having my hair feel like straw after use was not what I expected from using a natural product! I am just glad that I did not leave it on for the full amount of time that was suggested, or the end result would have been much worse! August 30, 2012

Gentle product, but could not get anything but red I was trying to achieve coloring my roots to blend with existing hair highlights - My natural color is dark blonde (dish water blonde) w/ a little graying starting. I understood that this would be a multi-step process because the product is not "high lift". I tried several of the blonde colors (testing hidden sections of hair) & even contacted the company. I tried 40 minutes to an hour of process time. They suggested the 8A and then 10A. Neither of the colors could lift my hair beyond the 'red' stage even though 8a should have been a close match. I finally gave up and had to go to Sally's and use a peroxide based product. For some reason this product just didn't work for my hair. August 16, 2012

First Application of Naturtint®:

Choose one tone lighter than the tone you want and do a strand test to adjust your treatment time.

Application on Previously Colored Hair:

Naturtint® does not contain ammonia. Lighten your hair progressively going two tones lighter at a time.

Ingredients: Naturtint®: PEG-2 oleamine, aqua purificata (purified water), cocamide DEA, alcohol denat (alcohol), propylene glycol, ethanolamine, oleic acid, sodium sulfite, tetrasodium EDTA, hydrolyzed vegetable protein (Triticum vulgare, soy, corn, Avena sativa), sodium erythorbate, P-phenylenediamine, 4-chlororesorcinol, 2-methylresorcinol, 2-amino-4-hydroxyethylaminoanisole sulfate, N,N,bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-p-phenylenediamine sulfate, m-aminophenol.

Warnings

The use of hair color may provoke an allergic reaction. Contains hydrogen peroxide and phenylenediamines. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact with eyes occurs, flush immediately with plenty of water. Do not use to colour eyebrows or eyelashes. Rinse hair well after application. This product may provoke an allergic reaction. An allergy patch test should be performed before using the product and gloves should be worn during handling. Store between 10C and 27C.
