Makes water taste like metal!
I have owned many stainless bottles before, both insulated and non-insulated, and never had a problem with metal flavored water. With this bottle, I of course scrubbed it out like I do any new item I purchase, filled with water, it sat for about 30min before I drank it, and when I did I wanted to spit it out! I dumped it, wrinsed it, tried again, and same thing! Metal tasting water. I am returning it.
Also, this bottle is made in CHINA, comes with NO instructions for care or use, and comes with a credit card-like tag attached to it. The tag is the same size, feel, width, etc of a credit card, and it says "This is a seriously safe stainless steel double wall hot/cold vacuum bottle" What a serious waste of a huge plastic tag to say that worthless info!! I'd much prefer a little paper tag with a few instructions on it.
Lastly, the cap looks stainless in the picture, but it is actually plastic. And of course I have no idea what it is made of because neither vitacost or the bottle itself says anything about the plastic, its safety or materials used. So I'm sure it has BPA and all sorts of chemicals, being an unlabeled product from China! I wanted a bottle where my drink did NOT touch plastic!
Spend a few extra bucks and get a different bottle, not made in China!!

Great water bottle
I bought this water bottle for my daughter. She loves it. She brings it to ice skating, exercise and even her classes. She especially likes the insulated part that keeps the water ice cold even when it's 100 degrees out.
