Used it to decrease frizz wearing my hair curly
And it worked well! I've learned that "straightening" products can be great for de-frizzing naturally curly hair. (If you are familiar with the hair-typing systems, my hair is medium-dense and 3b with some c, long and layered).
I noticed when squeezing a little out of the tube before washing my hair that the consistency is more of a gel, or creme-gel, than a cream (I expect creams to be so rich and moisturizing that leaving in conditioner is unnecessary), but this acts more like a gel. The hold is strong and would cause crispy, stringy curls if I did not leave some conditioner in. So I do that, then smooth in some of this frizz control stuff, blot/scrunch, and air-dry or dry with the help of sitting in front of my space heater for as long as I can take it (in the summer, I'd just wash and go). I get shiny, clumpy curls that will last a couple days with minimal retouching. If it hadn't been more humid/warm than usual in my climate this winter, I think it would last even longer. Overall, works nicely at giving my curls the hold and moisture-lock they need to look the way I want them to. The smell is a bit strong-- artificial coconut suntan-lotion smell, but it fades a bunch after it dries. Really reasonable price for a product that works well for wearing your hair curly.
