NuGo Nutrition NuGo Free Bar Dark Chocolate Crunch -- 12 Bars
Name is misleading
These bars are called Dark Chocolate Crunch but there is nothing crunchy about them. Of all of the Nugo bars I've tried, these would be at the bottom of the list for crunchiness. They are a chewy bar with just so so taste. I won't buy them again. There are too many Nugo bars that are so much better. My favorites are Dark Peanut Butter Cup, Dark Chocolate Pretzel with Sea Salt, and the Trail Mix bar is also very good. Unfortunately, Vitacost doesn't sell most of my favorites.

Best bar for sensitive tummies. No gluten, soy, dairy, sugar alcohols. I recommend!!

If U R starving...
I was looking for a decent gluten free, non-dairy, peanut free bar that would "travel well." This apparently is NOT it. When it arrived it looked as tho' it had already been out in the sun 4 years. The dark chocolate was dry & white looking. Not a real TASTY bar either. However, IF I was starving- it would work in a pinch.

one of my favorites
With having leaky gut, I can't do gluten, nuts... so it's hard as an endurance athlete to find things to eat on a bike. I often make my own rice cakes, "lara-bars" but it's nice to have something prepackaged. I have been eating this bars for years. You do need to time your shipping. I live in the south east and I order these in the fall/winter/spring and try to order enough to make it through the summer. They will melt in the summer on your jersey pocket so it's gonna be hot, make sure this is the first bar you eat, else carry it on cooler days.

High protein/ Good taste
I buy these all the time for the hypoallergenic rice protein (some of their other bars have soy). They are good for a snack, and the dark chocolate has known health benefits
