NuNaturals NuStevia™ White Stevia™ Powder™ -- 4 oz
Not at All As Represented!
If I could give this product a zero, I would. I usually order Kal pure Stevia extract, which I ahve been using for several years. However, it was out, and I saw this, which said it was White Stevia Powder. And since it was such a good price, I decided to try it.
The NuStevia is very disappointing. You only use a small scoop, less than the size of a pinkie finger, of the Kal Stevia. After trying a full teaspoon of the NuStevia, it still wasn't sweet enough, and had a horrible metallic aftertaste.
In looking at the back of the package it says that there are maltodextrin and other flavors added. Probably that's most of what it is. I doubt that 10% of this product is Stevia.
It also says it's non-bitter, but I'd consider a strong metallic aftertaste VERY bitter!
Save your money and get the Kal pure Stevia extract that Vitacost also sells.

I hadn't used a Stevia product in many years and thought it tasted bitter no matter how much or little I used. Was pleasantly surprised how good the taste of the NuStevia powder turned out to be. After just a little experimenting, found the correct amount to use in my coffee/tea. This product is now a staple of my diet.

Great taste but.....
I like the taste of this stevia very much however it takes quite a bit more of it to sweeten my coffee the way I like it.

I have used Stevia for years and I was hoping by the serving count this was going to be a strong concentrate of Stevia. However it was weak and I needed a teaspoon for a quart of tea. Typically I need about 20 drops of Wisdom Naturals Sweet Leaf. The taste was excellent but the concentration of stevia to filler was terrible.
