Great for homemade coconut milk I use these coconut chips to make my homemade coconut milk. It is my favorite form of milk to drink. I wanted to stock up because I have been making coconut milk everyday and the price is great so sad to see it is out of stock right now. March 9, 2013

Good value, fair taste I decided to try these coconuts chips due to the value and size of the bag. Nutiva has a good name and their coconut oil has a great taste but their coconut chips leave a lot to be desired. While the chips are a lot softer than the other brand sold on Vitacost the taste is not a fresh and does not have that coconut taste. In fact I can't quite describe the taste it is so "off". I will be sticking with the other brand that Vitacost sells from now on. January 20, 2013

Use in food preparation as you would any coconut flake - sprinkle on a cake or pie, mix into a delicious organic fruit bowl or make a custom-organic trail mix. Coconut Chips can also be prepared as a toasted, crunchy snack that's good for you! Spread a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 375 for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and eat.

Store away from sunlight in a dry place.
