Great price easy to dispense and it really works I have an older dog golden retriever 75 pounds age of 13. She was experiencing difficulty getting up from a reclining position on our tile floor. The vet prescribed Cosequin DS chewable tablets which we purchased at the Veterinarians office that day in November 2012. I also have a black lab age 8 years old that was showing difficulty in his hip quarters jumping on and off the bed daily. I started the prescribed regiment in Nov 2012. After seeing improvement in two months, February we started giving them the chewables every other day as instructed on the bottle. Searching the Internet I find that vita cost was the best pricing around for the 250 Chewable tablets. Acting like a puppy!! Our Chocolate Lab (nearly 10 years old & 100 lbs.) was beginning to "GROAN" every time he lay down or got up from the floor or his bed. Nutramax Cosequin® DS for Dogs Directions

The recommended initial administration period is four to six weeks; however, some dogs may respond in a shorter period of time. The number of Cosequin® DS chewable tablets may then be reduced to the maintenance level. The chewable tablets may be fed directly or crumbled and mixed with food.
