An easy & versatile source of protein Being a gluten-free vegetarian, I use this protein powder every day, in smoothies & soups. It acts as a thickening agent too so I experiment w/ making sauces for vegetables & pastas. It's quite bland & won't overpower the taste of the food, which I like. However, it does taste somewhat powdery, so you have to use enough seasonings, fruit juices, etc, to counteract that. Overall though, it's a good quality product that gives a big dose of protein in a small serving, & is very versatile. February 5, 2013
