I've tried the other available brands of magnesium citrate, and in my opinion this one is the most effective.

Each capsule is only 100mg
If you look at the above description under the SKU #, there is only 300mg per 3 capsule serving, which means 100 capsules is a 25 day supply if you want to get 400mg of magnesium per day. I just received my order and the label on the bottle states that 3 capsules is 300mg, not 400. The capsules are just as large as other brands with more magnesium, so I won't be reordering, although I will continue to buy my supplements from Vitacost, because I always get good service and prices. Since I have no problem with the actual product, I am giving it 4 stars for quality.

potency of 400 mg is misleading since it takes three capsules to equal 400 mg.

No wheat as advertised!
I have continuously struggled with finding a magnesium that is absorbable and unremarkable for even a trace of wheat. I am tolerating this product well. Like a previous reviewer, you do have take 3 capsules for a dose of 400 mg. On a positive note, you can really tailor your dose. I take 600 mg to 800 mg. I am very pleased that this formula does not include "citric acid" in the by-products.
