Orgran Molasses Licorice Gluten Free -- 7 oz
I like real licorice, German licorice is the best. Orgran licorice is not strong enough. It's better than nothing.

FINALLY.. Gluten Free Licorice
My family has been wheat free for 2 years now. I have tried other wheat free licorice, fruit flavored and traditional, but it was hard to chew and tasted good but not like licorice. This is a great texture and a wonderful flavor. I plan to keep a bag on hand for future licorice emergencies. :-)

Excellent real licorice
If you like real black licorice and not that watered down, sugar soaked candy "licorice" in most grocery markets, this is the one you want. Even if you don't have to go gluten free, this stuff is excellent.
The pieces are nice and thick, at about 1/2 and inch in diameter, and about two inches long. They are just the right chewy consistency to make your jaw work, but not hurt. I make sure I always have a supply of these babies in my drawer for my sweet tooth craving fixes. This and toasted coconut go a long way in reducing my natural desire for junk food.
They stay soft, even when I'm keeping the house at 68 to combat the higher heat prices of January.

not very sweet but strong black licorice taste

Okay if you are used to the sweeter black licorice candy at the store, this will disappoint you. I like black licorice but this is not as sweet. If I take big bites of it, it is kinda gross. I have to take itty bitty bites of it - then i like it enough to eat.
I do like that it's a healthier product than the rest of the black licorice options and that's why I purchased it to begin with. Gluten-free, less sugar, more natural product. It's just only tolerable in small bites.
