This one's the best!
When I evaluate a food item, I look at two things: utility and consistency. By 'utility,' I mean the usefulness of a product; by 'consistency,' I refer to whether I can count on the same level of quality from batch to batch. As far as egg replacers go, Orgran No Egg Natural Egg Replacer (Gluten Free) is the best of the bunch. I know it's not going to lump up on me, and I can even mix it into the dry ingredients instead of always having to heat up the wet components of a recipe to use it. Not every recipe works when adding hot or warm liquid to the dry components--think scones, for example. I feel that I can always count on Orgran to offer a consistent product regardless of lot number. So far, I've ordered it twice and I've found no inconsistencies in how it functions and reacts to the other ingredients. I can count on their egg replacer being an excellent product.

I love this egg replacer! I think it's the best egg replacer that I ever tried ! And also it's more affordable than other ones.

Can't hold a candle to Ener-G
This review is basically a comparison between Orgran and Ener-G's egg replacers.
I stopped using eggs when I was a teenager (well over a decade ago), and I started that journey with Ener-G, which works very well for me. However, out of curiosity (and a discounted price), I tried Orgran. Since I HAVE such a long history with Ener-G, I couldn't help but compare this to that. Consequently, the following is going to sound a bit like an advertisement for Ener-G's egg reaplcer. Perhaps, if I hadn't used it for so many years, this Orgran product would have satisfied me, but this was just a disappointment all around.
First, Orgran tries to convince the consumer that you need LESS of this product (than Ener-G) to equal one egg -- only 1 tsp. compared to Ener-G's 1.5 tsp. However, they instruct that a HEAPING tsp. be used, which, for all intents purpose, is 1.5 tsp -- the same amount that Ener-G calls for.
Also, this product seems to be weaker than Ener-G (both as a binder AND a leavener) requiring that I use MORE than the recommended amount. If used as directed, I find it doesn't "gel" and "fluff" up as much as Ener-G's. I also find that the end product doesn't rise as much, and stays a little more moist than when Ener-G is used.
Lastly, ounce for ounce, this is also a lot more expensive than Ener-G (almost double the cost), ESPECIALLY considering that MORE than the suggested amount is needed to reach an adequate egg substitute that provides consistent results to my satisfaction. I went through a box of this in no time, whereas, a box of Ener-G lasts me YEARS.
If you're looking for a good egg replacer, skip this product and buy Ener-G.

Very Good
I was really impressed with this product. It is great to use for your baking and it is really easy to use. I ordered one and after using it, ordered another one so I would not run out.

GREAT egg replacement
I use this regularly when baking, instead of eggs. I've also used it for meringue. I pour the contents into a glass jar and put in my freezer with the instructions taped to the jar. It's always available and never stale.
