wonderful This soap is great. It is so smooth, and it lathers quite a bit. The smell starts out great. However, over time it can smell a bit to earthy for my taste. The added butters and oils make my skin super soft after washing. March 30, 2013

Average This is a good black soap bar, but I prefer Nubian Heritage, because the bar is bigger (lasts longer), it smells better (vanilla) and it produces a creamier foam - more moisturizing. Overall, this bar is a good substitute if you can't find Nubian Heritage. July 16, 2011

Ok Moisturizing yet mildly exfoliating. I'm not a fan of smell though. It's not terrible but I'm just not a fan. I suppose it's just not the smell of black soap to me. April 14, 2011
