Pamela's Products Gluten and Wheat Free Cookies Ginger with Sliced Almonds -- 7.25 oz

Nicely spiced, yummy treat.
I've seen a number of reviews about this product both positive and negative. The negative reviewers seem to all say these cookies are dry - but that's not the case UNLESS you let air get to them after the package has been opened. This is a soft cookie, only sweetened with molasses. It is nicely flavored with the ginger and the sliced almonds are a nice addition. I find my sweet tooth is satisfied with just one…but I confess to eating 2 on occasion! Try 'em, you'll like 'em!

I love, love, love these cookies
If you love ginger, you'll love these soft but chewy (amazing for a gluten free cookie) very gingery cookies. I love to savor one with tea in the morning or after a meal. They have an almost cake-like quality. Wish they (and all gluten free products) were a bit less expensive, in which case I'd eat them all the time as a snack.

Dry and floury... Can't believe their Pamela's
I cannot explain all the wonderful reviews here. I love most of Pamela's products, including her WheneverBars and her Lemon Biscotti. However, these "cookies" are nearly inedible. They are dry and cakie, like eating the top of a stale gingerbread cupcake. That would not be so bad, as you could dunk them in your tea or coffee, but they also have a floury texture, like the flour didn't mix in properly with the other ingredients. This is a common problem in gluten-free products, but one that most of Pamela's products avoid. They are reasonably sweet, and do have a nice molasses and ginger punch, but really, I can't believe anyone can get past the dry, floury texture and I would never serve them to anyone but my chickens (who did enjoy the rest of the box)!

Moist, soft, rich.
Because of my food sensitivities I have to be choosey about ingredients. This cookie is an enjoyable treat that actually benefits my stomach comfort and health.
