Ahhhhhhhhhh-Mazing!!!
I am a baker. I have always loved making cookies, cakes, muffins, quick breads, yeast breads. I take pride in my ability to come out with artisan-style baked goods.
And then I went gluten-free. I have come up with tons of cookie and muffin recipes, and quick breads and cakes. They turn out okay, and I'm satisfied with them. But how I MISSED yeast breads! The smell of yeasty bread baking in the oven... it's the scent of happiness to me. And I finally have that again in this Pamela's mix!
This bread bakes up fluffy and firm. It doesn't crumble, it doesn't flatten, it doesn't get squishy and mushy in the middle. It's not a "gluten-free" texture. This is good bread. It's not my wheat bread- it's still missing the "crumb" that I get with a good yeast bread, but it's the darn closest thing I've tried that compares to a wheat bread. Very satisfying with almond butter and jelly, or with sandwich toppings. I like to cut a slice while the bread is still warm, and eat it all by itself. This bread tastes good enough to do that, unlike any other gluten-free yeast recipe I've tried!
VERY happy with this product, and I highly recommend it! I can't wait to experiment with cinnamon swirls and other flavors. Oh, and I make mine in a KitchenAid mixer with the whisk attachment- I'm not a bread machine person!

Terrific taste!
I purchased this mix for my son who is on a gluten-free diet. I made this in the bread making machine and it came out superb! It smelled so good in the house after baking it, my husband wanted to try it (who by the way has an aversion for gluten-free products), boy oh boy, was he surprised! All of us love this bread and are happy Vitacost carries this product.

Excellent bread
This is my favorite gluten free bread mix. I make it with two eggs because I like the texture better. It heats up well in the microwave as well.

Makes great pizza dough
I have made pizza dough several times and have 3 bags in my pantry now. I haven't made bread with it yet but it is great for pizza. I have 2 kids and have tried many gluten free pizza options. This one takes time to prepare but it tastes great and doesn't brake the bank thanks to vitacost!

Easy Gluten free bread mix
Pamalas makes great products. This bread mix is good and easy. I used my machine so my loaf didnt look very nice(lumpy on top) and it was dense. I will try again without my bread maker. I may try a little less water too, to see if its lighter. The taste was fine ,no weird after taste . I only liked it toasted because of the dense texture. It would make great stuffing.
