Peaceful Valley Certified Organic Radish Sparkler Seed Description
Raphanus sativus Annual

Did You Know? The name "radish" comes from the Greek word for "fast appearing", aptly reflecting the way radishes grow!
Soil temp 45-90°F
Planting depth 1/2"
Germination 4-12 days
Maturity 24-28 days
Soil and Water: Radishes prefer well-drained soils with plenty of added organic matter. They have low nutrient requirements; especially avoid excess nitrogen to promote good root development. Preferred soil pH is 6.0-7.0.
Planting and Growing: Cool weather is needed for best development. Sow seed directly wherever there is extra space in the garden. Radishes make good, living row markers for slower germinating crops like carrots.
Harvesting and Storage: Harvest is best when young and immature, less than 1" in diameter. May keep 1-2 weeks in the fridge.
