A great toothpaste for tooth protection
Since I am not buying this for the flavor (it's a toothpaste!), and since the mint flavors burn mouth membranes, the mint-free is superb. I've been using Peelu products for over twenty years, and I have had excellent results with it. The combination of Peelu fibers for cleaning and Xylitol (which actually protects teeth in a number of ways) is an unbeatable combination. Fluoride-free is an added attraction, as that is known to be toxic in the body. All together, this is a great product, and the only one on the market (to my knowledge) which offers all of these in one product. Thank you, Vitacost!!!

This product works well, but tastes terrible.

not what I was hoping for
I purchased this because it was the best deal among the fluoride-free toothpastes. Unfortunately, it tastes so bad that I cannot use it. It makes me gag. I have used it along with my husband's commercial-brand toothpaste to get past the taste, but you can't cover up that nasty taste very well. I'm sure it's a great product, but I will never purchase it again based on the taste alone.
