Pronatura Kombucha Tea -- 33.8 fl oz
Convenient Kombucha Tea
This is a convenient way to get Kombucha tea ready made if you don't want to bother with growing the culture at home. The price is a touch high but it has to be weighed with convenience. As far as the taste goes, I mix it with grape or apple juice and it takes on a almost sparkling wine flavor. It also mixes well with other juices if you don't like it straight.

Amazing All Around
Vitacost representatives are superb. Ordering online was a breeze. I have been using Kombucha for years and it is amazing for so many things.
I will order from Vitacost again without hesitation. This has truly been the best website for all around product and support. Thank you all.

This Kombucha is pasteurized - not alive
It tastes good but is not alive. You can easily test this by leaving some out in a jar, covered by a handkerchief. If no SCOBY forms, then it is not alive.
Anything you buy from the refrigerated case of your health food store will be alive. Nothing at room temperature can be alive because it would ferment so much the bottle would explode. This is the exact reason GTs and other bands were pulled off the shelf.
But it tastes good and if you think it's doing you well by drinking it, then who's to stop you from experiencing your placebo effect?

SCOBY TEA Excellence
Leave it to Germans to get it RIGHT!
This Soby Tea is one of the best I've used. It even tasts better after opening by letting it "breathe" a little, like a fine wine.
I use the term Scoby Tea because the most used "name" is a miss nomer, Kombucha, of Kombu Cha, is not a seaweed from japan which is made into a tea, SCOBY....Simbiotic Combination of Bacteria and Yeast..THAT WORKS! SCOBY TEA!

PASTUERIZED AND DEAD
This product is produced in Germany and shipped over to NJ to sell here. It is DEAD and has no benefits since the culture has been destroyed. Don't bother unless you are just drinking for the taste. Not bad on the taste.
